I lead the technological strategy of Helipagos, a BCRA-certified Payment Service Provider operating in the Argentine fintech ecosystem. My focus is infrastructure reliability, backend performance, and engineering team growth. I diagnosed and designed the remediation plan for a critical database performance crisis — a multi-vector problem involving connection pool saturation across dozens of microservices, missing indexes on high-volume transactional tables, and lock contention from concurrent external payment writes. I consolidate cloud costs, standardize deployments, and align engineering decisions with regulatory and business requirements.
Technology Innovation Manager at Helipagos
Led the full redesign of Helipagos' core payment button — a white-label B2B2C solution that allows each merchant to configure their own branding, payment methods, and national/international payment support. I authored the technical proposal, architecture design, and feature roadmap, then led a 3-person team to execute it over 3 months. The previous process required a developer to manually replicate views and deploy at midnight for each new client, taking up to 3 days per onboarding. I replaced it with a database-driven configuration system and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Ansible, reducing merchant onboarding to under 30 minutes with zero developer intervention in sandbox environments. Production deployments retain human approval as a deliberate security decision pending full regression test coverage.
Software Developer at Helipagos
I develop and lead frontend initiatives across the organization. I have led Angular migrations (11→14, 15→18), built private UI packages with GitHub Packages, and collaborated with design teams for feature analysis.
I spearheaded the client management website, revamped the landing page (Next.js), and built an internal documentation platform. I also mentor junior developers and implement CI/CD pipelines.
I developed an internal UI Kit with npm and GitHub Packages.
Additionally, I give talks on best practices, and manage two frontend projects as Tech Lead & Project Manager.
Bootcamp Helper
Led the development of a microservices-based e-commerce platform serving 1M+ users. Improved system performance by 40% through optimization and caching strategies. Mentored junior developers and implemented CI/CD pipelines.
Full Stack Developer
As a freelance Full Stack Developer, I worked with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups in Misiones, Argentina, building scalable and efficient web applications using the MEAN and MERN stacks.
